Bats and SteepleCats Postponed Saturday Night
Game Make-Up June 29; Promotional Entertainment Moved to July 29
KEENE, N.H. – The Keene SwampBats and North Adams SteepleCats' New England Collegiate Baseball League game scheduled for Saturday night (June 6) at Alumni Field has been postponed due to expected evening thunderstorms.
The make-up date for the game is Monday, June 29 with a 6:35 p.m. first pitch, and all promotional entertainment including C&S Night and Happy Hails featuring the Monadnock Humane Society has been moved to Wednesday, July 29.
Keene (2-0) will travel to face the Sanford Mainers on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. before hosting the Upper Valley Nighthawks on Tuesday night (6:35 p.m.) in the first of two Reading with Ribby nights. The Bats have won both games in comeback fashion to begin 2026, erasing a 3-2 deficit in the eighth inning against Danbury on Thursday night before scoring two in the ninth and three in the tenth to beat North Shore 6-3 on the road last night.
